Modern, beautiful dried flowers for Geelong and beyond - Bloom + Twiggery
A fresh take on dried blooms
Don’t get us wrong. Fresh flowers are cute ‘n all. Personally, we love nothing more than wandering through a garden of flowers in full bloom. But fresh flowers can be a hassle. Changing the water daily so they don’t go all putrid. Picking up dropped petals. And just a week later you’re throwing the whole lot into the compost.

At Bloom + Twiggery, we create beautiful bohemian and modern dried bloom arrangements to add texture and colour to your space. And best of all, our dried blooms last months, not days. So you’ll get to enjoy them for way longer.

Meet Hayley. Head flower picker, twig gatherer and bloom arranger.
This is the story all about how Bloom + Twiggery came about. See, flowers have always been part of Hayley’s life. Growing up on a farm in the Wimmera region, she spent her days cruising round her parents' property on her roller skates, dodging the family’s goats.

Hayley’s folks were (still are!) avid collectors of Australian native plants. So the property was filled with interesting trees, bushes, flowers and shrubbery. Then, Hayley moved to the big smoke (Melbourne) and took up an apprenticeship in floristry.

Career highlights include playing with thousands of blooms to create striking floral displays for events. Showcasing her talent at renowned floristry competitions. And working for a nationally-recognised florist as their Functions & Events Coordinator. And she bud-dy loved it! Taking a sea change to Geelong, Hayley sidestepped her way into compliance roles in the not for profit sector. The work was rewarding, but the desire to pick up the shears remained.

This time, though, she wanted to do something different. Creating a dried bloom community with her clients, the return to floristry has combined her passion for flowers + people. These days, a Mum of two mini humans, a labrador and tabby cat, a wife to her hubby, you can find her hiding in the pantry dreaming of peace and quiet.
